What You Will Learn in This Course
The Basic/Emergency First Aid Training in Langley is an 8-hour, one-day program certified by the Canadian Red Cross. You will learn CPR and AED for all age groups, choking response, bleeding control, shock management, anaphylaxis response, and heart attack and stroke recognition. Previously called Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED Level C, the course name is now Basic/Emergency First Aid under CSA Z1210 standards.
Mainland Safety delivers this course in Langley with the same hands-on, scenario-based approach used at all our campuses. Your Canadian Red Cross certification is valid for three years and also recognized by WorkSafeBC as OFA Level 1 equivalent. Pass with 75 percent plus all skills demonstrated.
