Foodsafe Level 1 In Surrey- Via Zoom / Video Conferencing

Food-safe Level 1 via zoom/videoconferencing course with an in-person exam. Participants will do the online class (via Zoom/Videoconferencing). This will be an online class for approx. 7 hours.
FOODSAFE Level 1 is a food handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and deli workers. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including food borne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. The BC Health Act: Food Premises Regulation states that every operator of a food service establishment, and at least one employee on every shift, must hold a FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate, or certificate from a course recognized as equivalent to FOODSAFE.
Language Options
Course instructions will be in English, but exams are available in Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
Course Fee
$70 + GST includes certificates, and wallet card (You will be responsible for buying your workbook).

Certification
Students must achieve 70% or more on the written multiple-choice examination. Upon successful completion, students will be issued a temporary Foodsafe Level 1 certificate valid as of the day of examination and ready for immediate use while awaiting your official certificate from the Fraser Health. This certification expires after 5 years.Exam
