FOODSAFE Level 1 Training: Essential for Food Service Workers

At Mainland Safety Training Company, we offer a convenient and accessible way to complete the FOODSAFE Level 1 course through Zoom/videoconferencing. The course is approximately 7 hours long and includes an in-person exam. Upon successful completion, students will be issued a temporary FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate that is valid for immediate use while awaiting the official certificate from the Fraser Health.

Materials Required

The Exam
The exam for the FOODSAFE Level 1 course will be administered in person at one of our Mainland Safety Training Company locations. The exam will be monitored by your course instructor to ensure that it is conducted in a fair and secure manner.
The Certification
In order to receive the FOODSAFE Level 1 certification, students must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the multiple-choice exam. Upon successful completion, students will be issued a temporary Foodsafe Level 1 certificate that is valid as of the day of examination and ready for immediate use while awaiting your official certificate from the Fraser Health. This certification is valid for 5 years.
