Occupational First Aid Level 3

Occupational First Aid Level 3 is a 70 hour program designed to provide advanced life saving first aid skills for remote worksites or employers with large workforces and are located more than 20 minutes away from medical aid or hospital. Initial certification requires full participation and course attendance. Successful candidates will receive the Worksafe BC Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate.

Examination is conducted shortly after the last day of class and is scheduled after each class has commenced. you will be required to pass an examination conducted by a person authorized by Workers Compensation Board. A grade of 70% or higher is required on each segment (written & practical) of the exam for successful certification.

Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course.

To renew a level 3 certificate a candidate must successfully complete the Occupational First Aid level three exam.

Admission Requirements

As to age, WorkSafe BC further advises, “A person must be least 16 years old to qualify for a Level 1, 2, or 3 certificate and in a workplace that requires a Level 2 or 3 attendant, the person must be at least 19 years old. If the attendant is under 19 years old and holds a Level 2 or 3 ticket, he or she may provide treatment under the direct supervision of the unrestricted first aid attendant on site.”

Your registration is considered “pending” until payment is received or guaranteed by a company. Until this happens, you do not have a spot in the course. We do accept Visa and M/C over the telephone or you can come into our office and pay cash or debit.
