Occupational First Aid Level 3 Renewal
The WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level Three Renewal course is a 36 hour program designed for prior Level 3 ticket holders. Participants must have a strong knowledge of theory and strong practical skills as there is limited instruction. Successful candidates will receive the WorksafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate.
you will be required to pass an examination conducted by a person authorized by Workers Compensation Board. The exam will be scheduled within a week following the last day of course and consists of both written and practical segments. A grade of 70% or higher is required on each segment (written & practical) of the exam for successful certification.
Certification
Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course.
To renew a level 3 certificate a candidate must successfully complete the Occupational First Aid level three exam.
Admission Requirements
As to age, WorkSafeBC further advises, “A person must be least 16 years old to qualify for a Level 1, 2, or 3 certificate and in a workplace that requires a Level 2 or 3 attendant, the person must be at least 19 years old. If the attendant is under 19 years old and holds a Level 2 or 3 ticket, he or she may provide treatment under the direct supervision of the unrestricted first aid attendant on site.”
